Soon-to-be brides and grooms, have I got a deal for you…
In case you didn’t know, Washington’s largest bridal show is just right around the corner! The Washington Bridal Showcase is coming up Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Chantilly, Virginia and yours truly (Cami’s Paperie) will be exhibiting.
It’s easy to get free tickets (and save ten bucks!) All you have to do is be one of the first TEN (that’s right, TEN) people to visit Cami’s Paperie website and using our contact link, tell us us which invitation(s) are your favorites and explain why. That’s it! It’s that easy. All you have to do is give us a little feedback, and we will give you lots in return. While you’re at the show, stop by our booth and mention “BLOG PROMO” to receive a little extra something ![]()
Seriously folks, act quickly. There are only ten tickets!
Fine print: One ticket per person. Please be sure to include your full name and address so we can mail your ticket!
Once again, great show, great people, great turnout, great fun. Loved it! AND, this time I was near the chocolate fountain! After about the twenty-sixth visit, they realized I wasn’t a bride to be. Still, they were soooo nice and the chocolate treats were just divine.

I’ve been super busy creating new designs. Be sure to check them out either on the main site, or for a really close up view, on my gallery!
Okay, things are going to be a little quiet here on the blog for the next few days. I’m prepping for the Washington Bridal Expo which is in Chantilly, Va on Sunday, Feb. 1. Yes, that’s right, Superbowl Sunday. Right now my studio is literally covered in invitations AND I’m trying to figure out why one of the lights on my display does not work. Grrrrr.
Ok. off to work. If you’re in the area, stop my booth!
If you’ve never heard of Freecycle, you’ve got to visit the site today. Freecycle is a grassroots, nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer and membership is totally free. I’ve been freecycling for years and love it. I get rid of a lot of stuff that I no longer need yet would hate to put in the trash. Example: My niece’s clothes which she outgrew. Tons of cute stuff from the Gap, Limited Too, etc. Freecycled it all to a young single mom who needed it badly.
“Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community.”

Our blog will be a little quiet this week as we are preparing for the Unbridaled Expo in Philadelphia. It’s going to be a great time! If you’re in the Philly area, be sure to stop by.
